Maggie is a second-year law student at Lewis & Clark Law School. Originally from California, she received a B.A. in Women’s & Gender Studies from Saint Mary’s College of California. Prior to attending law school, Maggie taught as a middle school Special Education and English teacher in South Louisiana as a corp member of Teach For America. Being in the classroom inspired her to pursue a career in special education law. At Lewis & Clark, she is a staff member of the Environmental Law Review and a student-board member of the Public Interest Law Project, OutLaw, and the National Lawyers Guild.
When she’s not working or in the law school library, Maggie enjoys backpacking in the great outdoors, trying new vegan recipes, and playing board games.
