A Portland native, Nick graduated from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. After graduating with a degree in history, Nick assisted low-income adults with physical and cognitive disabilities in Philadelphia.
In 2011, Nick attended the University of Minnesota Law School in Minneapolis where he acted as a student attorney for the Law School’s Special Education Law Clinic. In addition, Nick served as a summer law clerk for the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights in D.C. and worked for Professor Myron Orfield on a comprehensive report on the best practices and outcomes for integrated magnet schools. While in law school, Nick also took seminars on Education Law & Policy and Student Speech.
Nick is a licensed attorney in Minnesota and Oregon, and prior to joining Wiscarson Law, Nick worked as an immigration attorney. He currently lives in NE Portland and enjoys tending to his community garden with his girlfriend and cheering on his loveable-losing childhood sports teams.
