Did you know that Autism is the fastest growing serious developmental disability in the U.S.? In a recent survey, 92% of respondents said their autistic child was at risk from wandering. There is no way to predict who will become lost or when it will happen, so it is best to be prepared.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office has a program designed to help. They now have an Endangered Person Registry. This is a proactive approach to serving Washington County residents who may become lost and have difficulty communicating vital information about themselves.
