Issaquah School District Violates Individual with Disabilities Education Act

The Issaquah School District was ordered to pay $154,000 in private school tuition and $7600 in transportation costs for failing to provide an adequate education to a student receiving special education services. The Issaquah Reporter noted that the student severely struggled in the Issaquah School District, but now excels in his private school placement.
