Mackenzie began her career teaching special education in Oregon schools for six years. Her passion for child advocacy led her to leave the classroom and pursue a career in special education law. Her practical experience in the classroom provides a unique perspective to the level of advocacy that children and families need while navigating the special education system.
She is interning with Wiscarson Law and will graduate from Lewis & Clark Law School in May 2025.
With any free time she may have, she enjoys curling, crocheting and knitting, and spending as much time as possible at the Oregon Coast.
